Lindsey Metz is a stained glass artist based out of Sacramento California and the owner of Surrealist Glass. She has enjoyed many artistic pursuits throughout her life, but a few years ago discovered that working with glass offered her everything she was looking for in an artistic medium. It perfectly combines composition, form, and balance along side many technical skills requiring deep mastery.

She is inspired by the fantastical, whimsical, bizarre and strange. She enjoys creating art that has a dream like quality, and inventing characters and stories that are both thought provoking and fun. She desires for her work to brighten up whatever space it occupies both physically and mentally, and for it connect to self expression and our sense of wonder.
