Book a Glass blowing class.
Here at Sacramento art glass, we offer two different types of glass blowing experiences:
Our Beginner Glass Blowing Group Class
For Group classes, students sign up for a 40 minute time slot within an 8 hour day. Each time slot will be for one person to make one piece which is chosen during sign up. Students can sign up for more than one time slot if they would like to make multiple pieces, or if students would like to come as a group of two or more, each person in the group can sign up for one time slot. Students can arrive at any point during the day and watch the other students in the class work on their pieces, but must arrive at least 20 minutes before their time slot begins to get checked in for the class.
As a part of the group class experience, students will get to choose the colors that they want in their finished piece, work with the instructors as they go step by step through the process of making the piece of your choice, get hands on experience using the traditional glass blowing equipment, and leave with a beautiful, unique, handmade piece of artwork to be enjoyed for years to come.
Our Intermediate Private Glass Blowing Class
For those who would like a more personal one on one experience working with the instructors, you can sign up for our private glass blowing experience. This is for folks who want more in depth instruction and hands on learning in working with hot glass and all of the tools of the trade. For these classes, students will book a 1 to 3 hour session working one on one with the instructors, and are expected to make around one or more finished pieces per hour of time booked. Students do not choose in advance of the class what they will be making, as this class is more focused on learning the process of blowing glass.
If students would like to book a longer than 3 hour session, please contact us to book your class with us directly.
